New build development is becoming more prevalent type of development in London; this is due to the increasing cost and use demand / competition on inner city land.
MGL have developed and constructed numerous new build projects or part new built construction and part refurbishment projects in and around London, over the past 30 years. The drive towards an intensification of density on inner city areas has placed new pressures on inner city land (Brown field sites), where reusing and revitalising old existing buildings may not provide enough intensification of use or accommodation. In these instances a new site specific building can often be the best solution.
