Refurbishment and conversion of Grade II star listed public house. Development was to retain commercial / restaurant / bar space, along with residential development, set within the upper floors for the existing public house and to the rear stable yard.
The existing public house was Grade II star listed and elements, within the commercial area had to be retained. The design of these parts related were agreed with English Heritage, and focussed mainly to the bar area, with the panelling, front bar and rear bar being the main elements that required conservation
